✑Aoi is best classified as an introvert. She tends to be shy at first but, she can warm up quickly, if allowed to. She can come off as stoic, but that doesn't mean she is oblivious. On the other hand she can be very stubborn. Excpecially when it comes to physical labor. She hates feeling useless due to her lack of stamina, and in response, she tries to make up for it by finding other ways to be of use.
History:
✑Days before her birth, Aoiffe's father ,Heni, left for Runa to fight battles in the Colosseum, while Aoiffe's mother, Aisha, stayed behind to continue her line of work as a medic for the bandits, and people of the slums. When Aoiffe was born her body was very weak, and in order to keep Aoi alive her mother created a special medication for Aoi to take every day.
Aoiffe grew up fine, and spent the first ten years of her life alongside her mother. It became a favorite pastime of hers to watch Aisha create medicines and see the effects they had on the people who took them. It inspired her a lot, so much, that Aoi wanted to try it herself, and she would have if it hadn't been for that unfortunate incident on her eleventh birthday.That day the weather was nice and business was slow, allowing Aisha time to visit the marketplace for extra supplies. As she packed, Aoiffe told her about wanting to learn how to make medicines directly. Aisha saw nothing wrong with the idea and happily agreed to teach Aoi all about medicine making when she returned from the market place. A few minutes after Aisha left Aoiffe became impatient. She was too excited to just stay behind and instead she left to go searching for her mother. Aoi figured her mother would get home faster if she came and helped her gather supplies.
Aoi followed the path her mother would go on the days where she'd actually take Aoi out to the marketplace, not knowing she was also being followed. She found her mother at a weapons shop. Her mother seemed to be purchasing a shovel-like spear for fishing. Happy to finally find her, Aoi obliviously ran towards her mother, shouting her name as she ran. It caught her mothers attention along with that of a slave trader, who'd had their eye on her since she'd entered the main streets. Having been caught by slave traders, Aoi panicked. Aoi was afraid of being captured, but she didn't have to worry about that though. Instead of letting Aoi become a slave, Aisha made a deal with them, by trading Aoi's place for herself.
Aoi was thrown to the side and without a single chance to explain anything to her mother, the slave trader had left. Aoi was confused and angry. All she had materially left of her at this point was the shovel-like spear Aisha had just purchased. What she really wanted was to use it to get her mother back but with her current strength and ability she knew that couldn't happen.
Six years after that Aoi was still living in the same home she'd always been. Instead of running away or moving out, she decided to stay and perpetuate her mother's work. Hoping for her mother's return was something she knew wouldn't get her far which is why she saved up all of her money to pay for a trip to Runa In order to meet her father. Since he was the only one who she knew would help her. When Aoiffe finally arrived in Runa she began her search immediately. She didn't find her father but she did find Allister. Allister was a fanalis who was trained under her father in the Colosseum. During this encounter she was informed on how her father died in a spar in the Colosseum.
Even though, she couldn't ask Heni to help free her mother. Allister, whom felt he was in debt to Heni, promised to stay with Aoiffe along with helping to find her mother.
